The gun went off and the divers dove into the cold water. I sat back and watched as he took the lead. His strong broad shoulders made perfect swimming. Not to mention the muscle he had packed in there. But I'd always wondered about Dmitry's swimming. Was it really as fast as he could go? Or was he just being fair to the other competitors. Dmitry was a vampire after all.

"Wow…Dmitry…is." I held up my finger.

"Samantha, now, you have Aaron." She giggled. Aaron wasn't sitting next to her though. He was sitting on the other side of me. Routing for Dmitry like half of the other people. We were on the bench. Waiting for the next round of swimmers to be called. Their was one more boys team and then two more girls teams. Sam was just down here watching my boyfriend show off. I glanced at Aaron, who was standing up and cheering.

He'd opened up a lot this year. He was nicer, still had that perverted mind of his, but a lot nicer. I wondered if it was because of that day. The day he'd taken a risk to suck the venom out of me that Clare had placed in me. We hadn't heard anything from Clare. Not a trace or anything.

"Winner! Dmitry Hughes!" We got up and cheered for him as he put a towel over his shoulder and walked toward us.

"Your turn bro." Aaron laughed and went to get ready. Dmitry looked down at me, a smile pulling over his face. He put his hand on top of my head and messed up my hair. He looked around and then bent down to whisper in my ear. "Is you neck still hurting?"

"No. It feels much better." Clare had shown up at my house when Dmitry needed me the most. She would only let me go if I became a vampire. She'd injected venom into my neck and had let me go. I'd gotten to Dmitry on time, but I'd fainted. Everything was blurry from then on. Aaron had saved me from becoming a vampire. He wasn't completely successful though. I wouldn't be able to age at all. I'd live for ever, but that's all.

"That's good." He gave me a soft kiss and sat next to me on the bench. Sam had left and went to sit in the bleachers. Nothing was holding her here now. Another gun went off and the swimmers dove once again into the cold water. It was that cold water that I'd called home so many years ago. My home lay empty. I was rarely there. I usually stayed at Dmitry's. Shadow had gotten big in the month that had passed sense I'd gotten him.

"Dmitry?"

"Hmm?" He looked down at me. Why did he have to be so tall? It was handsome though and fit him nicely.

"How old are you?" The questions had been on my head for a while now. Dmitry was a vampire, he'd never told me his age. All I knew was the he was eighteen to the people around him. Humans that is. Ahh, what am I doing talking all grown-up-ish. I was just a kid in a sense.

"Well…do you like older men?" He laughed for a moment.

"If it's you then…yes." He laughed again and brought his lips to my ear.

"84."

"Wow…84." We stared at each other for a moment, then broke out laughing.

"WINNER! Aaron Hughes!" I was about to leave and get in line for my turn, but Dmitry caught my arm and brought me into his chest. Kissing me hard.

"A good luck kiss." My face turned red, I mean red. Dmitry just laughed. Like he always did. Just laughed.

I walked over to the pool and stood on my number, 4. I was always 4. It was a lucky number in a way. I got into position and jumped into the water when the gun went off. The sad thing is. I don't remember anything after that.
Hehe, it's finally here! Sorry it took so damn long ><

The next chapter is going to be awesome :D I hope anyway lol
