I wish I could be something more
then a diary for people to write in
All I can do is give you the pen
to write all over me
Here I am, covered in your lies
and now I'm marked for life
You'll just keep coming back
leaving perminent scars
What am I to do?
When all I can do is stand here
Is there something more I can be to you?
That's all I'm asking for
I just can't take it
all the writing you're doing
is there anyway to make it stop
and make you see I'm something more?
I watch you live a life
full of happiness
because all your sadness
is written in my heart
It's going to burst if you keep
pilling it with things
that are just too deep
for me to handle any longer
Please put the pen down
and take a minute
to let me write
all over you
I wish I could be something more
then a diary for people to write in
All I can do is give you the pen
to write all over me

I'll Love You Even In Death
Her hand tightens on mine
As I kiss her into the bed.
Her mouth is parted,
Inviting me in.
She's never acted this way before.
Always alone, always sulking.
But now she's opened up
She's shown me her scars, her tears.
I lick her neck right under the chin
She squirms under me, sighing for more.
But I don't.
Laying down besides her,
I kiss her on the head.
She may pout in protest,
But I just pull her closer.
Until she's wrapped in my arms.
She fits me, like a puzzle piece.
I'm not ever letting her go,
Not even if she dies.

Overture
Wander, wander, wander into a dream
A night spent on emotion and illusion
Where nothing is what it seems
And my mind is lost into delusions
On a dark alley I see but a shadow
Could it, or could it not, I ask of me
Chasing ghosts in the night I go
Wondering if it's you there that I see
But then, oh, a slight change is made
Into a green sunny meadow I awake
In the distance a shillouette fades
But it seems a mirage, just a fake
For I know that you are long gone
With the wind, in a breeze, you left
Not really seeing what you had done
What's behind after you so selfishly left
But then what is the reason for this?
Into this dream I

Retrospection
We beg for mercy,
to be pardoned
of a sin not of
our own volition;
to escape what
haunts the mind
through dreams
and distorted images.
There is an escape,
but it seems far-fetched,
and it only leads
to further damnation.
Breaking the silence
with a subtle scream;
still the heart is
shattered with memories.
