Just Open Your Eyes

Open your eyes and see that there is a brighter world
Just beyond the planes and past the hills

You let that one indecent put you down
Make you go insane and hate everything around

You refuse to see the good in their eyes
That they have never caused you pain

But you still hide under the covers
Screaming and shaking, yelling at the nothing that is there

When will you be able to see that it's really all clear?
That your pain is gone and the suffering has ended

Open your eyes and see that everyone's here
Everyone you once held close

But you shoved them away with all that you had
Not wanting to hear what they really said

Now they stand here outside your door
Are you going to let them in and hear them out?

They've always been here, praying and wishing
Begging and pleading, hoping and wanting

That you'd open your heart from it's long depression
And see the brighter side of the hell you're living

You don't understand how you are living this life
That you have been blessed with

It's better then what your mind portrays it to be

All the faces you have been missing
And all the new life that's come into this world
