Will you remember me
In your darkest hour
When you came to me
For some simple advice
Will you remember
All those times
I was there
Just to simply be there
Will you remember
The nights we shared
When we were all alone
With nothing to do
I'll remember you
In my darkest hour
When I went to you
For some simple advice
I'll remember
The beat of your heart
As I laid my head
Against your chest
I'll remember
Everything that ever was
Those lonely starry nights
Standing outside your window
But will you remember
All those good times
We shared together
In each other's arms
Will you remember
The pain we shared
As our tears slowly
Mixed together
I know I'll remember
That through all that pain
And all those tears I cried
Your smile still shown bright
I'll remember
That even though
We were in so much pain
You always smiled so true
But will you remember
How I tried to smile
By your side
As long as I could
Will you remember
In your darkest hour
When you came to me
For some simple advice
In your darkest hour
When you came to me
For some simple advice
Will you remember
All those times
I was there
Just to simply be there
Will you remember

Retrospection
We beg for mercy,
to be pardoned
of a sin not of
our own volition;
to escape what
haunts the mind
through dreams
and distorted images.
There is an escape,
but it seems far-fetched,
and it only leads
to further damnation.
Breaking the silence
with a subtle scream;
still the heart is
shattered with memories.

I'll Love You Even In Death
Her hand tightens on mine
As I kiss her into the bed.
Her mouth is parted,
Inviting me in.
She's never acted this way before.
Always alone, always sulking.
But now she's opened up
She's shown me her scars, her tears.
I lick her neck right under the chin
She squirms under me, sighing for more.
But I don't.
Laying down besides her,
I kiss her on the head.
She may pout in protest,
But I just pull her closer.
Until she's wrapped in my arms.
She fits me, like a puzzle piece.
I'm not ever letting her go,
Not even if she dies.

Will you remember that one stormy night, that I laid alone and cried to the coldness, all the things I'd done wrong.

I like that you have some cliche ideas and turned them around. This is sweet and tragic. I'd love to hear so many of your lyrics put to music. Great work.
